On an evening that gifted me several mountain panoramics with intense purple and orange sunset colours, it was the details in the trees below me that caught my eye and produced some of my favourite images of that session. The fog was constantly moving, flowing in and out of the freshly snow-covered trees and forming amazing sunbeams as it interacted with the low golden sunset light. As a photographer, you cannot ask for much better conditions.

Captured on a calm but freezing evening in late January from the peak of La Berra in the Swiss canton of Fribourg. This view is looking south west, across La Joux de Villaret.

With its more subdued colours and tones, this artwork is perfect for a dramatic but calming centrepiece of any room. The high-resolution image, combined with very high-quality papers and printing processes, ensures that all the fine details and textures in the trees are preserved, even when viewed up close. 

This print is available to view in "Large" size (125cm wide), "Premium" material option, and with a walnut frame in Le Chalet de La Berra, a beautiful mountain restaurant just below the peak of La Berra.

Fine art paper prints have a white border around the printed image. The framed options include a mount to cover this border. Premium and Infinity prints do not have a white border. This is reflected in the sizing information; "Printed image size" and "Paper size".

Fine Art Paper

High-quality fine art paper print, delivered rolled in a tube, ready to be mounted and framed. For more information, click here

Premium

Fine art paper bonded to an aluminium composite panel overlaid with a protective matt finish UV film. Delivered flat and can be hung directly with or without a frame. For more information, click here

Infinity

The ultimate. Fine art paper sandwiched between an aluminium composite panel and a high-quality optically clear acrylic with a gloss finish. Delivered flat and supplied with a solid wood frame. For more information, click here

Framing

Frames are offered in white and black (painted) and oak and walnut (light and dark natural wood finish). Please note that the actual colour and finish may differ slightly from the images shown below. 

Mounting Hardware

All prints come with mounting hardware attached to the back for easy wall mounting at home. Wall hardware (i.e. hooks, screws, french cleats etc) is not supplied.
